Panchamukha Hanuman Temple 
Main deity of the temple is Panchak Mukha Hanuman with two hands, holding Gadha in right hand. It is believed that Lord Vishnu had given four faces to Hanuman with the main aim to defeat Ravana and get back the Sudharshan Chakra from him. With success, Hanuman along with four faces met Lord Vishnu at Panchak Mukha. From then on the temple received its name as Panchamukha Hanuman Temple by the people in the city. Further, the floating Stone used in the construction of Rama Sethu Bridge that connects India and Sri Lanka is preserved in Panchamukha Hanuman Temple. It is important to know that these floating stones were used by Hanuman to build the bridge. These heavy stones have the capacity to float on water. Every stones carries Rama Namam and it resembles the existence of Lord Rama and occurrence of Ramayana Story.
